Yoga Teacher

Yoga is an integral part of Kimberly's life and has been since she first stepped onto a yoga mat in 2007. However, her inspiration to become a teacher derives from experiencing yoga’s healing power first-hand. Kimberly's first priority and intention as a teacher is cultivating a healing and empowering class environment. She emphasizes breath and body awareness to help students cultivate balance, strength and peace.

Kimberly's passionate about providing practitioners the tools they need in order to reach their personal health and fitness goals. Her students inspire her every day. Kimberly's classes are generally challenging, accessible and playful. Her classes incorporate all the fundamentals - with a sprinkle of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra - and include a few giggles along the way!

Kimberly is trained in Kripalu hatha yoga, Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® and has 10+ years experience in Vinyasa yoga practice. She is grateful to have learned from a number of extraordinary yoga teachers over the years. She formally trained at the world-renowned Kripalu Yoga & Health Center with Yoganand Michael Carroll and Cristie Newhart, and with Jennifer Reis - Creator of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® and Five Element Yoga® .

Kimberly is a Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT® 200 with Yoga Alliance, a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, RYS® 200 and a Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra Teacher®. She is also First-Aid, CPR & AED certified.
